The Editions

What does “Edition of 100” actually mean?

Each maris racquet is released in a single run of one hundred numbered pieces. Numbers are assigned in order of reservation — the earlier you reserve, the lower your number. When an edition sells out it is retired permanently. We never re-run a colour.

Is my number printed on the racquet?

No. The racquet itself stays clean — wordmark at the foot of the face, the star in the hitting zone, and nothing else. Your number lives on the edition card that accompanies your racquet and in our register.

When does Edition I ship?

The Green ships from Sydney in November 2026. Reservation holders receive a letter with their number and tracking the moment their racquet leaves.

Will there be more colours?

Four further editions — Cream, Cocoa, Navy and Sienna — follow The Green, each in its own run of one hundred. People on the list hear first.

The Racquet

What level of player is this for?

Intermediate through advanced club players, and beginners who buy once. The round profile and soft 36 mm EVA core give a generous sweet spot and genuine control — it flatters a developing game and rewards a good one. If you exclusively play attacking padel and want a head-heavy diamond, this is not that racquet, on purpose.

Is it really full carbon?

Yes — 3K carbon fibre in both the face and the frame. No fibreglass anywhere in the build. Most racquets under A$400 use fibreglass faces; we consider that a shortcut and don’t take it.

What are the full specifications?

Face & frame: 3K carbon. Core: soft EVA. Profile: 36 mm. Shape: round, open throat. Length: 455 mm. Weight: 365 g ±3, individually weighed. Finish: matte lacquer. Grip: cream, replaceable, standard size.

How do I care for it?

Keep it out of hot cars — heat is the enemy of any EVA core. Wipe the face with a damp cloth; never solvents. Store it in its cover, flat or hanging. Re-grip when the tack goes. Treated this way, a carbon racquet keeps its character for years. Full guide in our Journal.

Ordering & Payment

Which payments do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Do you ever discount?

No. The price is the price — that is part of the covenant with the hundred people who own each edition. We would rather build more into the racquet than take theatre out of the price.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Any time before dispatch, at no cost — just write to us. Your number returns to the pool.

Shipping & Returns

How much is shipping?

Express shipping is complimentary Australia-wide. New Zealand is a flat A$25. Elsewhere, write to us — where there is a court, we will find a way.

What is the return policy?

Thirty days, unplayed, in original condition and packaging, for a full refund. Details on the Returns page.

What does the warranty cover?

Twelve months against manufacturing defects — delamination, structural cracking not caused by impact, finish faults. Court-rage and wall strikes are between you and your conscience. Details on the Warranty page.
